1. Introduction Our platform supports the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH v2.0) to facilitate the discoverability and interoperability of institutional research data
2. Metadata Policy & Licensing
- Access: All metadata exposed via our OAI-PMH interface is Open Access and freely available to any harvester.
- Licensing: The metadata is dedicated to the public domain under the Creative Commons CC0 (Public Domain Dedication) license. Harvesters may copy, modify, and distribute the metadata without restriction.
- Metadata Formats: The repository supports the mandatory
oai_dc(Dublin Core) schema. For richer data structures, theoai_dataciteformat is also available.
3. Data Re-use & Attribution Guidelines
- Service providers harvesting metadata from this repository must provide a direct hyperlink back to the original record page within any of our open access platform.
- Harvested metadata must not be misrepresented, altered to distort its original scientific meaning, or sold commercially as a standalone dataset.
4. Technical Implementation & Throttling Policy
- Rate Limiting: To ensure service availability, a maximum limit of 3 requests per second per IP address is enforced.
- Pagination: Records are paginated using the
resumptionTokenmechanism, serving a maximum of 100 records per request page. Harvesters must respect and process theresumptionToken. - Bulk Harvesting Windows: For full-repository harvesting, service providers are highly encouraged to schedule tasks during off-peak hours (e.g., between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM GMT+8).
